The nerve of this bank.....we called to pay off our truck loan one month early and they wanted us to pay the following......a 5% fee of the loan, $150 release fee in addition to the loan. We opted to wait until next month when our loan will be paid up....and they had the nerve to say we had to pay the $150 release fee.
We will never do business with this bank again and I suggest no one else should do business with them.....STAY AWAY!!!!!!

You should always read the terms of a loan before you sign it especially the section on fees. I am sure that they charged the fees that were in you loan agreement.

Customer service has always be great at this bank. I have been with them for just about 10 years since they bought my Florida bank. They have always done everything that I asked for immediately. I have never been put on hold to wait for an agent. Their customer service agents are always very nice and friendly and sound happy. I do all my banking over the phone since I live in texas and their debit card works at most 7-11's and many other locations across the country.

Lousy customer service, and the bank itself doesn't seem to know what direction that it is headed in. Stearns, for some odd reason, purchased Copperstar Bank, and promptly closed the additional locations. Especially the one located by my house, which meant a LONG drive to the bank do do ANY business.
Avoid this place. No reason to do business with them. I don't see them remaining in Arizona.
