My experience during the past year is---I hate going in there just to be treated rudely by these people.  Cold and inconsiderate is the experiences I have had with them. They enjoy talking down to people and I've witnessed other patrons go through this as well.

I joined First Financial Bank at the Newton IL branch 4 years ago. I have opened a checking and a savings account and also a loan at First Financial Bank the Newton branch. I had a problem one time with having my Debit card mailed to me when I lived in Carbondale IL the ladies I talked to about correcting it went way beyond what they should have for me and even with the long distance from any local banks where I could have talked to anyone in person. The ladies at the Newton IL branch fixed the problem in 1 day for me  though we didn't talk in person. I applied for a personal loan at a local First Financial Bank and even though my credit report and fico score was only 615 the lady loan officer still approved my loan for $1,000.00 with a lower interest rate on it. If anyone is looking for a GREAT bank to start out and open any kind of account at go to any Branch of a First Financial Bank.

Each and every time that I walk into this branch, I am greeted politely and made to feel very welcome. The employees and management have ALWAYS done everything that they could do to help me in any given situation. This group goes above and beyond when I have a problem. Good job Maple Ave!!!
