A while back I got a check from a customer for a self locating Exede Mobile Internet system. It was 2800 dollars and we were happy to sell it since we had it on shelf for 6 months and it was paid for. It was a windfall to be sure. We deposited in the bank and happily spent the money on some items we had put off buying. Then the terrible news, after about 10 days we got the info from bank that the check was bogus and they froze our account. We went in to check on it. The friendly people at Citizens bank were great. After we discussed what happened and got a police report our manager Mark asked us what our bills were and he worked with us by not bouncing any checks we wrote as long as we called first. In order to pay our bills.This was a GOD SEND and after about 4 weeks we got caught up and we're back to normal. Thank you Citizens Bank

The banking polices with this bank I like. It's been the only thing that has kept me here. But I plan on opening an account at another bank and closing this one soon.
I can't put up with the terrible customer service anymore. With the type of account I have money orders are supposed to be free, yet every time I get one I have to make sure and specify that they are suppose to be free or the person working trys to charge me for it simply because they arent trained well and can't remeber wich accounts get them free. It's not a huge deal untill it happens like 20 times and every time the teller working has to run accross the room and get out the information to look it up, or they argue with me about it untill they look it up and realize they are wrong.
Also the times I call into this bank I always get conflicting information on what info they can provide over the phone. I had a customer service representative yell at me over the phone because I asked her if she could confirm my account number. Basically the worste customer service ever over the phone representatives will tell you things like "Well I'm not supposed to give this information over the phone but to help you out I'll do it this time." like there doing you a favor when all there doing is not providing good security for your account and not providing a good understanding of there company polices.

About 2 months ago a friend of mine needed me to cash a check for him from his job. So I went to the bank in walmart and did so. About a month later I get a call from them telling me that the check I cashed was NOT a check. I'm still not 100% what went wrong (the friend was up to something) but our account had to be deducted the $289 that they had given me when I cashed his "check" Although I was upset they were beyond friendly and helpful. Today I opened my mailbox to find a letter from them apologizing about everything that had happened and telling us they were thankful for how well we kept our balance (never being in the hole) and they had inclosed a gift card to a restaurant.
