I have found the bank to be very professional and helpful in terms of the service provided.  The staff has a genuine sense of community!

I can only say that every Carver Bank I have been into I have liked the service. I started on Flatbush,Hanson Pl., moved to Queens, Merrick Blvd and Archer Ave, no problems, friendly regular people,as a matter of fact, much nicer than HSBC or some not all Chase. I was able to send a Western Union straight from the teller etc I was able to buy money orders for $1 since I bank with them. People have weird experiences anywhere but try looking at the experience in a positive way and it usually isn't that serious.Thank you Carver employees..

Unprofessional

I'm a business rep and contacted branch to see if they received correspondence that I sent over for a reply and the rep told me to refax the correspondence.  When I asked the rep if it was protocol to refax documents without even checking to see if the documents were received by the bank, rep told me, "Because I was calling from a 347# that I sounded suspicious on the ph".  When I offered to give the rep my manager's name and ph# to verify my purpose and identity, rep just told me to refax documents and hung up the phone on me.  So unprofessional and arrogant.  They talk about supporting your own but when your own speak to you the way I was spoken to, I would never bank at a Carver branch nor would I recommend them to anyone.  Such a waste.
