I recently had illegal activity in my accounts. I called the bank to discuss as I had figured out what happened and who and how. I was transferred to Fraud and was told to go change the account name, log in data and password, which i completed immediately. That was all that was needed I was told. Before I knew it, and with no notice, my debit card, access to both savings and checking had been closed. These accounts are in a trust and receive my retirement pensions. Now I am supposed to go to the bank to change everything. COVID-19 Shelter in Place WELLS FARGO. I am not going to the branch until this is over. Meanwhile everything is messed up and my pension check is due on the 1st which I dont know what will happen. The fix was a simple one, someone I know went in and took money. I had given it to him before, but this time i was not here and he just assumed all was good, and his accounts are frozen also. TURN OFF your auto password and log-in info. He would not have been able to gain access if I did not allow my computer to keep this info. My mortgage payment to Wells Fargo is due from these accounts on the 5th. I wonder will they still debit these CLOSED Accounts. Want to place a bet?

Wow! Same thing just happened to me except for the pension checks. Had illegal activity which made me overdrawn, spoke with fraud department, said they would figure out my account & take off the fees & get back to me on it. Never heard a word again & now my account is closed out & I have to go in & see the branch manager. I’ve been with Wells Fargo for 10 years too!!

While the bank managers are nice, I went up to the teller to make a large deposit. She asked me to confirm an amount that was $400 less than my count on the deposit. When I questioned her count, she told me I must not understand that there are a lot of singles in my bag and that I was off in my count. I asked her to return my money, and it was indeed $400 more than her count when I recounted it. Very shady, I wonder how many businesses send their employees over with a deposit and are shorted money?

Something has to be done about this location. I do not know if this is poor management or poor training of the staff. Tellers are changing like at a bus stop, line is often too long and ones working there are showing really poor interest in what they are doing.

Twice in the last month Wells Fargo has made mistakes on my checking account. About a month ago I wrote a check for a church donation for $25.00. When I viewed
the check on line, the check was exactly right, but when I looked at the corresponding entry, it read $20.00. I called the bank and requested it to make the change, but the last time I looked, it had not been made.

On July 14, 2015, I wired a considerable (for me) amount of money to to a Wells Fargo entity in CA. The banker told me the wire fee would be $30.00. I pointed out that the form itself quoted $25.00. After checking with "the boss," she corrected herself and agreed that since it was going to Wells Fargo, it would cost only $25.00. However, when I looked at the statement entry today (July 23,) it still reads as $30.00. What can I say?

I have been sending automatic payments to this branch into my savings account for 10 years.  The main purpose is to receive the money so Wells Fargo Mortgage can withdraw it.  On a few occasions the branch personnel have routed the money directly to the mortgage company without instructions to do this.  I started sending more money to build savings, and once again these additional payments are going to my mortgage with no instructions to do this.  It will be resolved eventually, but they have a bad history.  In 2006 a banker was fired for embezzlement.  I will be looking for another branch to pay my mortgage, and other banking options for savings.

Chole  - I am being charged $5 monthly fee on my savings
account.  Since I can not get hold of anyone while I am in Reno, NV.  I will move my direct deposit next month on my pay day, you and Wells Fargo just lost another customer
for very poor customer care and bad service.  I am not going to waste any more time with this; there are plenty of other banks and credit unions that will do as I ask. bye

By far, the slowest drive through windows I have ever experienced in 34 years of banking.  Both First Union and Wachovia had far better processing times than Wells Fargo. Note to Wells Fargo....if it ain't broke....don't fix it!Although the staff is very pleasant....they seem to have no idea what they are doing. And, there appears to be a high turn over rate in the staff.

This has been coming for a long time. When there is 1 teller waiting on a business & 3 tellers in the back, I'm standing with 2 bags of coins(which are very heavy)and no other teller is called to help, then there is a car at the drive up & no one to help them, with 3 people now standing behind me. I finally ask if there is another teller, "oh sure their in the back doing other things" But she does call one then. Is it just me or shouldn't your customers come first?!  Believe me its this away every time I go in there. I'm about done.

4 weeks ago, my husband and I went into the nearest Wells Fargo in our new location--Pan Am shopping center in Fairfax, VA--to add my name and get me cards for both my husband's checking and credit accounts and to update our account information since we recently moved and I recently changed my name (I have my own separate checking account at Wells Fargo as well).

The banker we met with was friendly but, we learned later, he did not do what was asked of him. We met with him for over a half hour and the only thing that he did correctly was to allow me to see all the pertinent accounts when I signed in online. He didn't update my contact information and he didn't arrange for cards in my name on my husband's accounts to be sent to me. We brought in all the necessary documents stating our address change, my name change, our marital status, etc. and he made copies of the documents we brought in, had us sign 3-4 different things 'verifying' and 'authorizing' the changes and our new information. He told us to expect my new cards in the mail within 10 business days.

We wait for 2 weeks just to find out that he actually had not added me to my husband's accounts successfully and I never received new cards for those accounts. So I went back into the same branch to try to straighten this out and met with another banker. I told her about my past experience and she shrugged and said there must have been a 'glitch' in the system and they were not able to process our request. She didn't seem to comprehend why I would be annoyed that I had to wait 2 weeks and then come back in again and made it seem like it was a common mistake.

Maybe it was a small mistake but I was pretty annoyed that she just made it seem like our time was not valuable so who cares if I have to come in twice to do something that should be very simple and straightforward. So, I was already frustrated with the service we had received at this point but I understand that things happen so I proceeded with this new banker, hoping she could issue me the cards for my husband's accounts and successfully update our contact information as well. It seemed like she knew what she was doing and I left after meeting with her for about 20 minutes and her telling me my new cards would be mailed to me within a week or so.

A week later I finally get the debit card, as expected. The next day I got a credit card, so I assumed that it was the credit card I requested, one that is tied to my husband's credit account. (I realize we have separate lines of credit but they had already done a credit check on me and I had been approved to be added to his account, or so I was told.)

Well, once I logged-in and found the credit account, I realize that it was not part of my husband's account after all but that she has issued me my own, completely separate credit card. Yeah, I was pretty annoyed but this was not such a big deal. I don't mind having my own credit card and the one I got has no fees and pretty good rewards so it wasn't the worst thing ever.

However, it is not what I asked for or what I went into Wells Fargo and spent approx. 50 minutes total of my time trying to get. I called the banker who I had seen most recently (since I had her business card) and, after waiting on hold for awhile, I told her about her error with the credit card. She was so rude on the phone. She kept interrupting me, she laughed in a condescending way when I said that I had never asked to have my own credit card, insisted that she hadn't done anything wrong, and she did not ever apologize. She kept saying 'well, you asked to get your own credit card, so...' and 'you are not allowed to just get a credit card on your husband's account without him authorizing it (scoff)' and 'I know you had a bad experience the first time you came in but the past is the past, don't try to make it seem like I did anything wrong.' Seriously? How unprofessional.

Perhaps I should have realized that I wouldn't be able to complete this whole process without my husband coming in with me a second time to 'authorize' that I could get a credit card under his account. However, I assumed incorrectly that since he had already been in with me once and had already signed authorizations for things, and since it was the first banker we worked with's error that put us in this situation in the first place, that she would be able to issue me a credit card under his account even without him there or that, if it was necessary for him to authorize it again, we could call him or she would simply tell me that I had to come back in with him again later. If she had told me when I was in there that I needed him there to authorize it, I would have been more annoyed, of course, but I would have understood and come back with him or had him call in later.

She didn't say anything like that. I explained the whole situation to her at least 3 times when I was in there and she seemed to understand. Then, when it turns out she didn't do what I asked and I called to question her about it, she got super defensive and nasty and refused to apologize for her mistake. She never would admit that she made a mistake.

That is what so infuriated me to the point that I wanted to write this review. She works in customer service, she made a mistake and instead of just saying 'I'm so sorry, what would you like me to do to remedy the situation?' She insists that I asked her to perform a service that I did not ask for...Even if I had asked for the wrong thing and it had not truly been her error, she still should have just apologized for the confusion. I really can't believe that it should be so difficult simply to add me to my husband's accounts. We brought in all the necessary documentation, we both came in at the same time and met with a banker and I really thought that this would be a simple, easy process. I got excuse after excuse from both bankers--oh, it was a glitch in the system; oh, you told us you wanted your own credit card; oh, you came in right before a holiday weekend so it was really busy (what on earth does that have to do with anything?!). And totally unprofessional, rude attitude from that second banker. I can't believe she has a job in customer service. I know the names of both the bankers I worked with but I am hesitant to post their names here because I don't want to be nasty just because that second banker was.

But I will not go back to this branch location.

I strongly dislike making any transactions in this branch. The staff seems to be incompetent and not friendly. The only reason I continue to bank with Wells Fargo is the convenience of making almost all transactions from my smartphone or ATM. Thank goodness for their great technology.

Customer service at this location is TERRIBLE!!! Never anyone that is available to help you when you call and never a manager available. My daughter had a graduation check mailed to her from her father. the check was not a wellsfargo check but drawn off a credit union here in AZ. I figured if she signed the check over to me wells Fargo would cash it with my daighter's ID and her present...NOPE!! i have done this in the past with no issues but because they wanted her to open an account with them and she did not I felt as though they just chose not to help her because they told her to take the check to another bank!! totally unacceptable being that I have been a long time customer. the check was only for 100 dollars too and in my account I had thousands!! Also..talk about trying to cold sell!! I think I have gotten more offers at the bank to invest, change, apply etc etc than i get at a car lot! I feel as though I am attacked everytime I go to the bank and I always go to the drive up tellar...except for that one incident when I went inside with my daughter. I have been looking into a credit union recently and after almost 15 years with WF I am going elsewhere.

I gave the overall rating a 2 because of a banker that use to be there that use to help me Darlene. If she was still there I would given them a perfect score rating. Since she transferred to Cherry Creek. I have worked with several bankers at this branch. I hate to say this but none of them had the professionalism that she did. This bank is a little to gossipy and very unprofessional for my taste. As one of the bankers was assisting me with an over 100k wire another banker in the cubicle next to her is gossiping about other fellow employees at the branch. Well needless to say the banker messed up my wire because she seemed more interested in what was going on next to her. I think most business owners will agree that time is money. So when you take time out of your busy day to do something as important as send out a $100,000 wire you expect it done right the first time. Not to have to go in several times and call several times to find out a week later what is going on and why my client still has not received the wire that is only supposed to take 24-48 hours at the most. Beyond this mess they have lost several of my deposits, horrible long lines in a stuffy small space, and again unprofessional. The only thing I can say to this branch manager is....
Hire more professionals with class.
If anyone knew Darlene the banker at 38th I'm sure you would agree she was absolutely fantastic. Great smile, professional, and attentive.
She stuck out like a sore thumb in that branch. In a very good way!  So I wasn't surprised to hear she had transferred.

Wells Fargo is a great company and has done a great job with managing my accounts.  I recently moved to the area and in the past going into wells fargo was a treat.  The branch in Perkasie is not the same.  The service manager there is rude and made me feel stupid when we talked.  Made a process that was supposed to be easy very long and exhausting.  Had to go back and forth to my house to get papers that I found were not needed.  Went to the branch in Telford and Matt the service manager is 100% better.  He was friendly and extremely helpful.  Was in and out in 15 minutes while the other branch wasted 3 hours of my time.  The motto of this company is "Courtesy".  This branch does not represent the company what so ever.  It is worth your time to head down to Telford for banking.

As a frequent customer of this bank The Staff at The Fridley WELLS FARGO BANK It has has become not my opinion but it now is a fact that this staff "tries to hard to be friendly."
I really don't have time to play 20 questions with them.
I nearly wanted to say this afternoon " Just deposit this money and stop grilling me".

The staff wants to know every single detail about you and tries to be your friend. You also get bombarded with unneeded scam deals. One another annoying thing is that every time I walk in I feel like I'm President of the united states and I fee like Hail to the chief is going to play for me.
I'm just another person with all do respect.
I always feel uncomfortable and uneasy when at this bank.
I feel like I must know everything about my financial situation and I have no earthy idea what is going on.
In conclusion I really do not like meeting with a different financial adviser. One wil tell you one thing and make a scam deal with you and another staff member will reverse and do something else with your account.
My debt card was never mailed as promised. In closing The banks need to go away and the credit union must replace it.
The government does more harm than help outside social aide programs.

I have had very positive experiences at the Hall blvd. branch with the tellers. They are smart, friendly and efficient. However, the branch manager (I think her name is Sherine) is unprofessional, rude and really has no place there. If Wells wants to increase their customer service scores, they should start right here by demoting Sherine so she can learn positive customer service from one of her tellers.

I am absolutely disgusted by Wells Fargo. District manager for the Wells Fargo's in the LA ~ Beverly Hills region - SHABNAM EBRAHIMI continues to harass employees by her scornful demeanor. She consistently belittles her employees and treats them in a self-deprecating manner. If your work is excellent Ms. Ebrahimi ignores it, and continues to treat you like trash. I am disgusted that poor employees have to suffer her wrath and live in fear, just because we can never report her to Human Resources since she is “district manager”—and DM’s, my friends, never get reported or reviewed. Be a warning to any CUSTOMER or EMPLOYEE - the Beverly Hills District is CORRUPT. BE WARNED!

Most of the time the employees are really nice, but today the lady at the business counter totally blew off my question about my way 2 save account. I was in the middle of a sentence, and she interrupted me to talk to the guy behind me (I was being helped), and then proceeded to have a personal conversation with someone else behind the desk. I don't was to invade her privacy by giving her name here, but it started with a J. Being busy is no excuse for blowing off a customer thats done business with the company for 10 years. I'm pretty ticked off. I miss your old business counter guy, he was great!
