I have made two attempts to have this branch help me with a non-profit YMCA account. First they said that the account was too old and was a conversion from Wachovia. So, I sat and waited and was told that they would get back to me. A very nice Young Lady, Rachel helped me. Later she did call me and left me a message. I returned her call and then heard nothing back. Few days later I got an e-mail asking me to rate their service, so I filled it out. Few days after that, I got a call from the District Manager, Katey Again very nice and she apologized for any inconvenience. We set up an appointment for the 30th for me to meet with Rachel at 9am. So, I go to the branch at 10831 Midlothian Tnpke to see her at 9 am and was told that she was not in. A teller let me know that someone else would help me. He disappeared into the back and then came out and mentioned to me, "are you the one that is trying to straighten out the YMCA non-profit account?" I mentioned that yes, that was me. The Manager did not come out and explain but had a teller do it for her. So I waited over 25 minutes and then left. If you cannot keep appointments that you set and then make people wait this is not very respectful of their time. While people are nice at the bank, I give them poor ratings for their customer service.

I visited the Mequon branch the other day and was greeted by a young man right as I walked through the door. He was very helpful in directing me over to one of the bankers. I have been banking with this location in Mequon for many years and have seldomly recieved such wonderful service. The young man who greated me even called the next day to ask if I had everything taken care of when I was in the previous afternoon. Customer Service this great is rarely found these days, and i greatly appreciate the Mequon staff.

The teller that waited on me last time I was in was only 19 and obviously hung over because she reeked of alcohol and looked like she had been out all night! I don't think I should trust my money with a company that allows minors/employee's to come into work hung over and management doesn't seem like they care!

I am sick and tired with the customer service in the Federal Way 320th Wells Fargo. Every single time they ask me what I do for a living because my check is around 5 grand. I believe it is not their business and they told me I should open a business account, and I almost closed my account today. Who hires these people, who have no knowledge about anything. They just want to stick their nose in your personal life. They called the manager over because she had to sign this check and her question was the same, what kind of business am I doing. Never go to this branch, if you don't want to explain your personal life.

Didn't know this branch also hired racially profiling special ed people. Pulled up at the drive-thru behind another car and was waiting for the bank to open. I had a shaved head and a beard. (yea, here we go). Was greeted by one of those aging ditz blondes who dress like their 18. She doesn't say "Hi, How are you?". No smile. Looked like she was pissed off that the SECOND car to come through there at 9:02am did not have a white person in it. Told her I needed to pay off a certain amount on my wifes secured credit card, FROM our checking account, and filled out the slip. After playing a little bit of solitaire on her computer, she says she can't give me that information because I'm not on the account. Now she's got me confused because 1st- I didn't ask for anything and 2nd- I had paid the previous month the same way with NO problems. I know I'm not on the credit card, but we have a joint checking account. I told her this. The credit card was just for my wife so that she could build up her credit since she was new to the country. I told her me and my wife have a joint account here and if she's SURE I'm not on the account. This lady had the audacity to leave me hanging and go help the person on the other lane. Then comes back and tells me "yea, your not on the account". I'm thinking she has all our accounts and info open in front of her. (This broad was telling me that I was not on the credit card this whole time but she kept saying 'account' which threw me off along with the inclusion of the side served attitude. Duh, I'm not on the credit card.) Then Ms. Wrinkles asks me for my license, and then our debit card.. and after a while, my checking account (cuz obviously the poor thing was too into playing minesweeper to look up the account with the debit card I had handed to her). So when she asked me for the checking account #, I pretty much knew what was going on. She comes back and tells me she can't give me the info. (Now frustrated, yet staying calm) I ask "Again, WHAT INFO? I didn't ask for any info. I am not asking for ANY info. I just want to pay off the credit card." She finally got it. (Mind you, there were other cars now behind me, waiting). After 15 mins of Pinball 3D, Bless her heart, she finalllly understood. Yaaay. She decoded the message. She gave me a receipt, and (lol) just stood there stare'n at me. No "sorry about the wait" or "sorry about the confusion" or "is there anything I can help you with?" or "have..a..nice..day"....? Nothing. (Don't you hate people who think FOR us and "think" they know what we want no matter what we tell them. It's like they're in their own world and hear only what they want to hear.)
The irony of her being a joke.. Remember she couldn't give me absolutely ANY kinda info about the account that I never asked for? Well, I look down at the receipt and to my shock, what do you know..

Jesse23, you're the racist/special ed one. Stare'n is actually spelled " staring" or "starin" in your words... Spell check anyone? I'm guessing you didn't make it through elementry school? If you wanna talk s**t about someone atleast do it right.. You're entire statment is a joke.. Was alot of rambling.. Made no sense! Atleast not to myself or any other person who knows how to read.. The way you're attacking this woman seems like you have a grudge against a woman having a better job than you, or maybe its because she's blonde and has a better job than you.. Maybe next time your wife can pay on her own card instead of sending an idiot :)

Poor thing, I guess you were playing minesweeper when they were teaching grammer/english.. What am I saying, minesweeper is way too hard for you to understand, you would of had to pass 2nd grade to grasp that.. Crazy birds and doodle jump is more your speed. Shocked you could even spell it!!

Absolutely terrible experience here. Not only were they unprofessional, But COMPLETELY not helpful at all & totally unintelligent.
So, they couldnt clear my check, which was really weird. But thats all good and fine. I understand. But JOSE The banker who was suppose to help us out, Apparently couldnt give us any reason why they couldnt clear it. Just simply said "i dont know, it wont clear" So I asked to talk to someone higher up to help me out. So while he goes and gets a "manager" i got on the phone with the business that wrote the check so i could maybe get to the bottom of it. The "manager" comes out, stands there for 3 seconds and before i could even ask him to talk to the business, he mouths to Jose "handle this because were closing" and walks away. It was a good 10 minutes before they were closing. SUPER unprofessional. And not only that, But before even KNOWING that he couldnt clear it, He marks the check so NO other bank can touch it. I am so beyond disappointed & this is why i dont bank with wells fargo. Im pretty sure if i went in there and was hispanic or spoke spanish, they would have treated me better. But because i am white they put a total power trip on me. NEVER AGAIN will i step foot in there. And i will never refer ANYONE to this bank.

Bottom line: People here have no knowledge.
I am a customer of Wells Fargo since 2010 (it was Wachovia then). I recently went to this particular branch to refer my friend to open his account. They received very well and the waiting time is less than 2 minutes.
We were then helped by an executive. He said that there would be a SOFT PULL of credit report in order to open checking and savings account and suggested my friend to apply for credit card as anyways we are SOFT PULLING the account. We know that generally there would be hard pull if we apply for credit cards. We double checked with him on this. After his confirming that it would be a SOFT one, we applied for credit card.
Next day to our shock, when we pulled our Experian credit report we have seen HARD inquiry on our accounts. When we went to bank and asked about this, he seemed to be not at all in a mood to talk and answered as if he doesn't care.
I dont understand why people say when they do not know about things like this.
I will never again visit this branch. I suggest the same.

Very disappointing that as a business owner I cannot do any banking on Saturdays at Wells Fargo. Not only the drive through is closed on Saturdays, but the main bank is also closed for business. I would think after the hardships Wells Fargo has been through, and its recent pull of many clients, that they would bend over backwards to make banking not only personally, but for businesses easier than they have. It only becomes more and more difficult. I've been looking for more and more reasons to stay with Wells Fargo, and this dosent help my persuasion to stay. Very disappointing to say the least.

Fantastic Bank. I have been banking with Wells since 2002, I have had other banks since (and before then) due to being in locations where I haven't had access to a actual branch with Well Fargo. Out of all the banks I rate Wells Fargo the Highest with service, consistency , account management, and knowing at any time if I have an issue they are only a phone call away and have been fantastic in a number of issues I have had, some being my own fault, and the other being retailers.I have never had any issue that was the fault of Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is the way to go when it comes to banking. Tried and True. :)

I have been with Wells fargo for 4 years and they are just getting worse and worse I had to close my accounts yesterday. Every time I turn around they are trying to charge me to have my accounts open. They have uneducated employees who don't explain how the accounts work what to do and what not to do, then when you don't meet their standards they want to charge you for it and then you have to take time out of your day to go and complain and then some one tells you that it should have been explained to you when your account was set up which they never did. then you have employees who are working on commission and want you to sign up for a whole other account and you don't want certain options and they sign you up for it with out your permission which makes me irate. While they are telling you that they will never sign an account with the Wells Fargo themselves the very bank they work for. Who does that? To boot their is always a blonde girl at the Wells Fargo on Cascade that talks and talks and talks instead of try to help others which then makes you late every time. They are rude, inconsiderate people no matter what Wells Fargo you go to. The Wells Fargo On Research think its an inconvenience to help you if there is one teller working on the weekend their will be other employees just standing there while one teller is busy. The final straw is when I seen this last charge on my account late Monday night so I called the Wells Fargo on the back of my debit card and she was rude read me off my requirements which one was to use my debit card 10 in a month I told her I did she said no and went on to say that Wells Fargo billing cycle month which is from the 17th to the 24th which I then was upset so she said she will try and get this credited came back to my account then two seconds later she came back on and told me she could not do it I explained that NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE said that it had to be with in those days all I was told was 10 times a month and she wouldn't listen. All I know is I WILL NEVER EVER Recommend Wells Fargo to ANY ONE.

Love the Indio branch! The staff is so wonderful and friendly. It's been so hot these past weeks when I approach the teller window to do my deposit the male teller asked I would care for a glass of water? I was so surprise that the teller would go out of his way to please me. That's outstanding service! Just wanted to share my wonderful visit!

I entered a short sale with the sellers bank being Wells Fargo. The house listed at 30,000 and had been on the market for 1-1/2 yrs. I bid 31,500. It was accepted and after 2 months Wells Fargo said sales have gone up so they want 47,000 for house instead of the 30,000 they agreed upon. This is the 2nd attempt on a short sale by the seller with Wells Fargo. Where is this good for anyone? They want to ruin the sellers credit, disappoint a family and by next year after sitting for 2-1/2 years that house will be worth 25,000. Many other banks have written off 30 to 40 thousand, but Wells Fargo won't work with anyone and would rather ruin peoples lives. I had 31,500 CASH and that wasn't good enough because they are just plain greedy. Just because sales went up doesn't mean the value of the house did. Even if I had 47,000 the house is no where near worth that. I hope your ignorance comes back at all of you. Other banks are fair and work with people. Your house is gonna be a dump by next year and your lucky if you even get 31,500 by then. Hope your happy. I'm gonna tell everyone about your practices and you're well known by attorneys and realtors that agree your bank would rather destroy lives than work with people. I can only hope your office is sitting on a sink hole. No loss if it is!!!

Oh and by the way forgot to tell you to not even offer short sales anymore to mortgage holders with your bank. You have to be willing to work with people and you're not so it's never gonna work out. You just play with peoples lives and lie to the seller that you offer it. You make people wait for 2 months just to shove it to everyone involved. Just tell people the truth. You don't care and you're not in the business of working with people. What you're doing is shameful and deceitful. You can't offer it if you never approve it.
I'm not important

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for 15 years and have never felt so un valued as a customer as I do today!
I over drafted for the first time which I easily fixed when I received a notification email, and called the bank to see if the fee could be reversed. The phone rep said she could only do half the fee, but perhaps if I went to my nearby bank they could refund the rest.
When I got to the bank, they said there was nothing they could do because there was already a reversal on the fee.
The manager said it was due to the system And I refused to believe that there was nothing that they could do. I told her that I was going to close my accounts and she could care less.
The manager at the Wells Fargo Potranco 1604 branch does not value the customer. She was not the bit sorry that she was about to lose a customer. I'm so done with banks and their fees!!! Credit unions are the way to go!!!

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for many years, and have been very pleased with my banking relationship. I moved to the area in 2009 and began doing business with the local branch. I found the people at the branch very friendly and helpful.
In May of this year I began a review of my estate planning. I decided to change beneficiaries on several mutual fund holdings. I contacted the funds and gathered the required documents to make the change. Three of the mutual funds required a medallion signature guarantee.
I filled out the forms and on May 13, 2013, and I contacted my Wells Fargo branch by phone. I explained that I needed a medallion signature guarantee. The lady I spoke with told me that yes, Wells Fargo did offer that service to its customer and I could stop by at any time.
I drove to the branch, waited outside the banker’s offices and when I was able to speak with someone, they informed me that the one person who had authority for a medallion signature guarantee was not in, but would be available the following Wednesday.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, I returned the branch and inquired about the signature guarantee. I was told that the person who could do the medallion signature guarantees was not available. I said it was all right; I would stop by another day.
I put the forms aside and forgot about them for a while, then in early June I went back to the branch with my forms. I waited outside the banker’s office and when asked, I explained why I was there.
Shortly, Mr. Ronak Shah stepped out of the office to speak with me. I explained that I needed a medallion signature guarantee for three beneficiary forms. Mr. Shah asked to see the forms and I handed them to him.
Each form was folded to the page that required the signature guarantee, and a stamped envelope was attached to each with a paper clip. Mr. Shah carefully read the first form, in the process; he managed to drop the envelope to the floor. I knelt down and retrieved the envelope from the floor at Mr. Shah’s feet. Mr. Shah carefully read the second form, he drop the envelope to the floor. I knelt down and retrieved the envelope from the floor. Mr. Shah read the third form and again, dropped the envelope to the floor. For the third time, I knelt and retrieved the envelope from the floor at Mr. Shah’s feet.
After three to four minutes of study, Mr. Shah advised me that he could not do a signature guarantee because I had already signed the forms. This in spite of the fact that I am personally known to several employees the bank, I had three forms of signature identification, and I offered to demonstrate my signature for his approval.
I left feeling a bit unhappy. I’m sure Mr. Shah didn’t intentionally drop my envelopes, one by one, but he did stand there while I knelt to retrieve them three times in a row and never said so much as, “sorry.†And I was displeased that he would not accept my signature on the forms as my own, given the personal relationship I (once) had with Wells Fargo.
In the end I told myself that Mr. Shah was being professional and that I should follow his instruction, go back to the funds, get new forms, complete, but not sign them, and return for the required signature guarantees.
I wasn’t excited about the prospect of downloading and completing new forms, so I put it off. Then July 18, 2013 I did locate new forms, print them and complete them as per Mr. Shah’s instruction.
On July 19, 2013, I went back to my Wells Fargo branch, took care of a few deposits and asked to see a banker. Mr. Shah appeared and I explained the reason for my visit.
I was ushered into the Bankers office and asked to take a seat. I presented the newly printed forms to Mr. Shah. He again went through each page carefully reading the information contained there in.
Although it was not required by the mutual fund companies, in cases where I had a statement at hand, I attached it to the form for the fund companies convenience. Mr. Shah spent a great deal of time studying these statements, which irritated me somewhat. After all, these are not Wells Fargo accounts, and in my way of thinking, the details of my holdings in other financial institutions are really none of Mr. Shah’s concern. I said nothing and waited patiently.
Finally Mr. Shah got up, took one of the three forms to a copy machine and made a copy. I thought to myself, “If he needs a copy of each, why doesn’t he simply copy all three at the same time?†But I said nothing and waited patiently.
Mr. Shah returned to his desk and again spent a minute or more studying my private financial information. At last, he finally stamped the document and handed it back to me.
The Mr. Shah picked up the second form and again began rereading it, line by line. After a few minutes (at this point my family, who had been waiting outside, gave up and left to do their shopping), Mr. Shah looked up from his studies and asked, “Do you have a statement for this account?†I said, “No, this is an online account, I don’t receive a paper statement.†Mr. Shah said, “Well I must have one.â€
I explained that I had attached statements to the forms as a courtesy to the fund companies, and that they were not a required part of the documentation. Mr. Shah insisted that he must have a copy of my mutual fund statement. I said that my understanding of the purpose of the signature guarantee was to verify that the signature on the document I was presenting was indeed my own, and that my personal financial information was none of Well Fargo’s concern.
Mr. Shah was adamant that he would not guarantee my signature without full disclosure of my personal financial information.
At this point I asked to speak to a manager. In a few moments a lady appeared and introduced herself as Ms. Angel Williams. I explained to Ms. Williams that this was my forth visit to the bank for what should have been a simple transaction. I explained that the forms I had brought did not require the attachment of a statement detailing share prices and quantities, and I explained that I had meet with Mr. Shah previously, and that after he had spent considerable time studying my documents, he had not made me aware of this peculiar requirement.
Ms. Williams began saying that, yes, my statements were required, and at the same time Mr. Shah interjected that, “I certainly did tell you that.†I said. “No sir you did not.†He again stated that he had, at which point I advised him, “Sir I am a customer of this bank, please do not tell me that I am a liar, or insinuate that I am stupid.†I went on to tell him that his condescending speech and attitude were insulting and that I certainly did not expect that from Wells Fargo.
Speaking to Ms. Williams, I said, “Is this some kind of new initiative to chase away long term customers?†“I am going to go home and think this through. I may not have an account at this bank tomorrow.†Ms. Willams said that she, “certainly hoped I would (still have an account).â€
I am unhappy with the treatment I received, but I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for many years and have numerous automatic payments which are deducted from my account each month. It would be very burdensome to establish an account with another bank and change all of the payment agreements; otherwise, I would have closed my account that instant.
Why Wells Fargo needs to know how many shares I have in a particular mutual fund is beyond me. Why Wells Fargo requires this additional documentation when the mutual fund companies themselves do not is a further mystery.
What I do know for certain is that if Wells Fargo would like to see an exodus of customers, they should hire more people like Mr. Shah. Mr. Shah is clearly a very well educated and intelligent person. He is polished and professional in his demeanor, his hair is neatly cut and combed, his clothes are crisp and clean, even his nails are properly manicured. I am confident that his reports and documents are flawless, but he has no concept of customer service.

Well Said and oh so polite even after having a bad experience. Thank you for sharing your story. I would think after so "MANY" bad reviews that someone who is in charge of certain branches would make it an importance to resolve the issues shared here or on any other website you can share your comments. Outer appearance does not win over the treatment of customers and certainly wont keep them...

The man asked for the account information because in guaranteeing your signature he is accepting any and all financial loss as a result of any fraud. So you see he is not simply verifiying your signature if that was all that was required a notory would have sufficed. He is asking for the balances in your accounts as he is trying to assess the amount of liability he is putting himself and the bank on the hook for. So while it could have been explained better by the bank staff it is not out of the ordinary to ask and would have put you more at ease with why they questioned you in the first place.
Rude and Not very nice to customers

by GreatCustomer, Jul. 22, 2013
I went into the bank the other day to ask a question. The person that was standing there told me to sit down and wait on someone that apparently was just playing around at her desk. She came to her door and said very abruptly come in. No greeting, no smile, terrible attitude. Did not come out of her office to greet me or anything.I have used Wachovia and now Wells fargo for at lease 10 years. If this ever happens again I will no longer deal with them. I will remove everthing I have with this company.

The chipley branch for Wells Fargo has to be the most poorly run branch in Florida not only are the carpets in the building gross it seemed like everyone in the building hated there jobs there was not a single employee that wanted to really help me I had come in requesting my name to be changed and the young lady who helped me brushed me off and seemed more worried about asking me endless questions and telling to sell me a credit card then taking care of changing my name after 30 min I was told I needed a copy of my marriage license this could have been solved in the first 2 min I was there instead she kept going into a different office with my I'd and keep pressuring me to open a savings and credit card she then told me her manager had made her ask these questions and try to sell me these things before taking care of this issue so I don't know if that's the truth but I do know I am done with Wells Fargo
