I called Customer Service and asked if I could have their Auditng Dept. phone number. I was told that Auditing would tell me the same thing, to come in and fill out a form. I was being stonewalled. This is a total breakdown in the Branches controls. It goes against their policies and procedures when someone takes money out of your checking account who is not authorized. The Branch Mgr. and the VP in charge of consumer banking should be held accountable.

I was out of town and did not have my account log-on info with me. I called the branch on Saturday at 2:45 p.m (they close at 3 p.m.) to check whether a $4,000 deposit has hit my account. She seemed annoyed by my call and immediately put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I was literally on hold for 30 minutes. By then the bank was closed. I never got to talk to a person again and still had no way of finding out whether my deposit had hit. That was dirty. Considering I have two business accounts there, you would think they would treat their own customers better. That was a dirty tactic to avoid handling my request...a request that they could have handled in two minutes as I had my acct # with me. Their hours are good but their customer service is TERRIBLE!

How do they justify making you wait forever to cash a check drawn on their bank to charge you $7 to do?

Canadians beware!!! Not they same customer service you may be used too in Canada. Slow, unprofessional and rude. Don't choose this bank out of convience. It will be anything, but convient. On one bright note the Bank Manger was very professional in helping us close the account and tried to rectify the situation.

I refinanced with TD Bank one year ago. For some reason, they mail bills for mortgages monthly rather than sending me 12 payment slips at the beginning of the year. This year, they sent me a bill for the payment due March 1st, and I paid it, only to get a letter from them telling me I had paid the wrong amount. Well, I paid the amount on the bill. Apparently, they changed the escrow amount they wanted for the March first payment, but didn't update the bill. Fine, so I went to a branch and paid the difference. Normally, they send the bill to me 6-7 weeks before it is due. I am entering this on 3/1/2014, and I haven't received a bill for 4/1/2014 yet. Considering what happened with the previous bill, I was nervous. So I went online to pay the bill and their web site said it didn't recognize the loan number and zip code I entered, even though I was reading it off a previous bill as I typed and double and triple checked it. Okay, so now I go down to the branch to ask what is wrong, and the teller tells me she can't access any information about my mortgage other than my last payment. She told me I could call the mortgage department on Monday to get more information. As she tells me this she's sort of trying to hide the fact that she's laughing at me. Now I have to call the mortgage department on Monday and ask for their help to straighten out the second month in a row where they are making it hard for me to pay my mortgage. This is becoming a second job for me that I don't have the time for. When someone's credit is on the line, it is cruel to make it so difficult for the person to resolve issues with their account. If you want to avoid problems like this avoid TD Bank. I wish I could, but I can't get an interest rate this good if I refinance. I wish I had stayed with Beneficial Bank. I was with them 10 years for mortgages and never had a problem.

This Brookline office tends to be run poorly with no care at all for customer service, and this office has consistently had a problem with just about every transaction, no matter how simple and this office gives us contradictory answers to our questions regarding the said problem as explained to us from other branches. The tellers and manager are rude and confrontational and tend to treat a problem with a high school like response, including but not limited to face twisting and eye rolling followed by a sarcastic "have a nice day!" and making you wait for an inordinate amount of time is not only childish but extremely unprofessional. It is almost embarrassing to watch such antics and makes for a very uncomfortable banking experience. Not to mention the "problems" seem to be ONLY at this office and with simple banking transactions that should not warrant such over the top drama from management and tellers alike. Although once in a while we can get in and out quickly with no issues, not nearly often enough. We are to the point of dread and frustration when we have to go to the Brookline branch. We never have problems with other TD Bank branches so my advice would be to just avoid the Brookline NH office and do your banking in any of the many other offices available.

I was asked to stop into a real branch in order to shut down my account. I stopped into this branch to do so, and was immediately told that I couldn't shut down my account. After getting on the phone with customer service to confirm that these were the exact directions I was given, they finally agreed to close the account for me (with an attitude). Days later I saw a transaction go through on the account after they PROMISED me that it was closed. My main problem was with the woman who was completely rude to me at the front desk. What a terrible experience.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a bank. Somebody needs to tell the manager "P" she is not the queen of the word and isnt always right. Shes rude, unhelpful, stubborn, and thinks she is better than everyone in the bank uncluding the customers. She fought with me telling me what I said to her 5 minutes prior, trying to tell me I said one thing when i really said another. Just outright stupidity and her little bank tellers arent any better. They try to kiss up to her and agree with her which just makes them look just as foolish and senseless. They were asking me questions about how and why I was writing the checks that I was, how much money myself and my employees make, and ofher personal information. By far the worst bank Ive ever been to and will close my account because of the Sayville location.

The assistant manager and the manager and the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever encountered. They were extremely unhelpful. Also, I requested my withdrawal to be in all hundreds and waited about five minutes for it. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a small cash withdrawal, I saw that it wasn't in the format I asked for. I had to wait even longer for the withdrawal. My experience here just for a check deposit and a cash withdrawal took me 25 minutes. Worst TD branch I have ever been to.

I went to a TD Bank to cash. $53 check. The check was written on a business account of TD Bank. After waiting in the drive through line for a considerable length of time while the teller chatted with her friend in the car in front of me, I was told I'd have to pay $7 to cash the check! This was as I was told, because I was not a TD Bank customer. This bank is located on Malibar Road in Palm Bay Florida. I did not cash the check there. I am thankful for not having any accounts there and will encourage any friends or acquaintances not to bank there.

I am a TD bank customer. I deposited several hundred dollars in checks over the weekend and another several hundred on Monday. I found out that somehow someone withdrew 102.99 from an ATM from my account so i closed my ATM card. the next day the bank rob's me for 170.00 in overdraft charges because several small things came through that I bought on Ebay. I was told that because my local checks didn't clear and the 102.99 was taking out it overdrew my account. So I am being robbed by bought. Do not bank here, they are thief's

Phantom every bank charges a non customer check cashing fee. If you had an account there then there would be no fee. So telling your friends to not bank there because if they don't have account there is fee to cash checks doesn't really help anyone. You didn't have a terrible experience, you just had to pay a fee because you're a non customer.
Tallpaul that's not robbery. Robbery would be a debit by td from your account for no reason. The federal reserve (bank of all banks) is closed on the weekends so td bank cannot physically process check deposits until Monday. You being charged an overdraft because you went below the threshold is a human error. Always check your available balance before you do any debit transactions. Keep your receipts.

I am a share holder in 6 different businesses. One of them has an account with TD Bank. I happen to be a president of that company since account was opened( 4 years ago) and am listed on the account as an authorized user. Usually I go to a Huntingdon Valley branch( which I would give 5 stars), but that day I stopped at Hatboro. How enlightening that was.
After I gave my debit card to a teller and told him that I want to withdraw xxx of dollars, he went for a help. He came back with the other guy who asked me why I need a cash and if certified checks would work. Excuse me? I want to take some of MY money out of MY account. What could be a problem?
So I gave them my Drivers Licence. They studied it thoroughly and I don't mind it. After all, they have to be careful. Then I was told that assistant manager will have to help me, since it's a larger sum. I don't mind that either. 5 more minutes passed by and a first teller came back with a blank withdrawal slip, asking me to sign it. I should not, but I still did it, after he explained that they need to check my signature. It should be done in a minutes, he said, they just have to wrap everything around. And he lives again behind a closed doors, this time with my Drivers Licence. Waiting again. After five more minutes, 4 people are coming out. Teller, certified checks guy, assistant manager and a curious girl, probably new teller to learn how to deal with those situations.
Assistant manager tells me:" We had to call your business partner, he will call you on your cell".
Me:" My cell is outside, I don't have it on me. Who did you call and why?"
A.M.:" Your business partner ( by first name)."
Why- I asked.
" We know him, he's the one who usually comes here."
Me: "Am I listed on the account?"
A.M.: "Yes"
Me: "You have my I.D. and signature. What is the problem?"
A.M.: "We don't know you. We know (first name of one of my partner). He will call you so we can straighten this up."
Me: "I am listed on the account. Are you telling me that you need somebody's approval to give me my money?"
A.M.:"Well, you know, we know him and we don't know you."
I smiled and kindly asked for my Drivers licence back and left the branch.
I have called regional manager to inform him about what happened.
After I left branch, I called my partner (person that bank employees know and call by first name) and he told me that first teller called him on his CELL, not the business phone number they have linked to our account, to inquire about me.
I have lived in a lot of countries and dealt with different banks in 4 continents. This situation reminded me of time when I was 18, living in Balkans, when a bank teller called my father to tell him that I'm trying to withdraw money from our family account. Father told her that she should do her job and do what I asked her to do as a client, not to play detective.
Account that I have with TD will be closed in 7 days.

I just returned from the TD Bank in Horsham, PA. The Branch address is 929 Horsham Road. I received a $50.00 Visa Debit card that was issued by TD Bank. I went into the branch just to inquire on how I can convert the card into cash. I wanted to purchase a Cashiers Check. From the moment that this prick said, "May I help you" in the most depressing voice ever, he had this look on his face like I was stupid. I asked him if I could purchase a Cashiers Check. He said, "No" with no explanation whatsoever. Infact, he was so rediculously rude, that the other tellers noticed and had to answer my questions because apparently this person you have working at that specific branch either hates his job or hates his depressing life. I'VE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN SO PISSED OFF AT THE WAY A SIMPLE LITTLE BANK TELLER TREATED ME. I WANTED TO WIPE THAT GOD DAMN SMUG LOOK OF OF HIS UGLY ASS FACE. As I walked away, I turned back and caught him giving me a look as to say that I was stupid. HOW DARE HIM GIVE ME LOOKS LIKE I WAS ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS. I wish I got his name, because this person should be terminated IMMEDIATELY. HE WAS SO STUPID THAT HE COULDN'T EVEN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I CAN'T PURCHASE A CASHIERS CHECK WITH THIS VISA. HE SAID IT WAS TO MAKE PURCHASES WITH. WELL, DUMBASSES..... ISN'T BUYING A CASHIERS CHECK A PURCHASE??? I expect a return response. I expect an apology. I thought your bank was the worst to begin with, that's why I pulled every dime from my account a few months ago, but after the behavior that your teller had today, all it did was confirm what a horrible bank you really are.

I walk in trying to do business and all I see is the manager in the back laughing and howling into the phone. I don't understand what is so funny. There are people waiting on line and all the employees are running around and she is laughing and howling into the phone. I don't know how you can hire a manager like that. This is a really good bank but your location has a terrible manager!

Same here, terrible service. No one can fire her because she plays the racial card. I don't have problem with her being black, but making me wait in line for 15 mins (not exaggerating) while she's laughing on the phone...that's not good service. She doesn't do anything and puts all the burden on the assistant manager.
Avoid!! Scam!!!!

This bank scammed us out of over 500 dollars in fees after claiming to link a bank card to our accounts. Their mistake cost a lot of money in overdraft fees and then I was told it would be reversed. My husband went down to close the account and they took 500 dollars from us, claiming we owed it to them in fees and overdrafts because of their mistake!! There are tons of hidden fees, too. Now, it's Christmas and they have stolen my children's Christmas money. And there is nothing we can do! I am bawling right now as I type this. Please do not get yourself scammed and robbed like we did!
