We recently conducted some fairly complicated banking as new customers with TD Bank in Needham. All the employees went out of their way to help us. They also welcomed my little dog into their building on a particularly hot day. Susan Lanham was very knowledgable about our needs and have guided us through all the necessary steps. If Susan was not sure of an answer she immediately made calls and obtained the answer. She also checked in with us periodically with updates. I plan to move all my accounts to this bank. I give this branch 5 stars.

Before you open an account with this bank read the fine print.
Since Carolina First was bought by TD Bank I have had nothing but headaches with this bank.
Because I have 3 different types of accounts and didn't read the fine print on all of them, I am now having to pay fees on accounts that used to be free with Carolina First. The latest was a $15 fee for not keeping a minimum balance of $100 in a particular account, which used to be free with Carolina First.
I have had it with this bank, I can not wait to go close my accounts tomorrow.
I work hard for my money and don't like having to spend it on excessive bank fees.

Ok up front I am not a member of TD bank however, I have used the penny arcade a few times. One time I had no idea how much change I had so that was fine. My last 2 times though I had the change rolled and knew exactly how much I had. Was going to deposit rolls in my bank account but just never got to it. The first time I was the only one using the machine and it shorted me 60 bucks! I called over the manager who opened the machine and saw a lot of coins were not counted, he put in machine and I got back an extra 35 bucks, he said that's all that was there. Now I agree that was all that was there but counter was way off, shorted me 25 bucks total. Now today I went with 85 bucks in rolled dimes and 15 bucks in rolled nickels. This time there was 3 other people using machine, 1 before me 2 after. I completely understand may have been short a dime or 2 in each roll but machine totaled 76 bucks again short, by the time I got to teller other people began using machine before I could tell her so just wrote it off as my stupidity for yet again using machine. After my 6% non customer fee got 72 bucks. While I was outside calling a friend to tell her what happened again, I looked up and saw nobody at machine anymore but the teller had opened it up and was dumping 6 or 7 handfuls of coins back into machine. I swear they divvy this up amongst themselves at end of day. Long story short, if you just have small change go for it but if you have a lot and have not counted it before going in, STAY AWAY!!!!!!! Considering reporting this to either authorities or state, this should be checked by someone for accuracy.

We have been happy customers of TD Bank ever since it took over our previous bank, American Savings Bank. It has continued to maintain its small-town appeal in that the staff makes it their business to remember your names and what you do. We, in turn, feel like we know them! It is comforting to be greeted cheerfully by a "friend" when you enter the bank and know that you will be taken care of efficiently and promptly. Management has taken care to ask for our feedback and to follow up. We have NEVER had a bad experience at TD Bank and we shall remain loyal customers!
Obviously, these other branches have hired the wrong employees and MY branch has the cream of the crop!

I brought my daughter into the TD Bank in Clifton Park to open an account. Neither she nor I was a customer when we entered. It was less than 10 minutes before closing on a Satudarday afternoon. The service we recived from Lindsay who greeted us when we came in and who helped us throughout was nothing short of amazing. In the half hour we spent with her she quickly assessed my daughter's needs given where she lives, which is several hours away from this particular TD Bank branch, and had her lined up with the right products, explained them all fully to her, was very friendly and on the way our the door she had us test our ATM cards just to be extra certain that everything was good to go. She did all of this without once giving us even the slightest hint that the bank was now officially closed.
I've been back to the branch a few times since that day and the couner staff that have helped me have been excellent.
Incredibly outstanding customer service!!

Aviod this place if possible. Everytime i walk in there are no customers but i have to wait at list 10 mins before someone at the desk will pick up there heads an reconize that i am here !!!! I have not been with them very long but Good Customer Service goes a long way >>. Maybe they should have one of those Quick 5 min meetings on how to provide better customer service.

We had terrible experience with this bank. The officer is dishonest and cheated us along the way during our mortgage application process. We tried to contact the manager but no response after a brief email. It is really surprising such a big bank does its business like this.

I wanted a change from Chase and I believed all of those sugarcoated commercials on TV and went willingly and naively to TD. Yes, gorgeuos branch, open almost 24/7...HAH. They charged me $25 a month for absolutely no reason. It was supposedly a no minimum balance account but unless you ask all the right questions they will still find a way to suck your money away without your knowledge or permission. I was sick of their constant fees for nothing and for everything so I closed my account last week. The young slick snide rep never even asked why I was closing my account. Something told me things were strange but I was distracted and in a hurry. TODAY I received my closing statement and the SOB's charged me $129.64 "closing adjustment"!!!
No wonder they ask you on this site "No abusive lanquage".
I'm so angry I could spit. I'm on my way there. I thought Chase was slick but they at least asked why we (my husband and myself)closed our accounts and never charged for it.
Don't fall for the BS commercials. TD Bank is a total superficial money grabbing rip-off.
Very happy now with PNC. Free business accounts and free checking. NO minimum balances required. Great, friendly staff.

Have several companies, started a new one and thought TD would be good to diversify.
Wrong move. The pretty faces, no trash can at the desk is just candy coating on a narrow minded, stick it to the client incompetant corporate culture.
They made multiple clerical errors in my account only to take weeks to make corrections as everything has to be approved by God. Because my account was new, they put an automatic 10 day hold on my deposits! Even local checks!
The final insult was reporting funds availability one day before actual availability. Another wasted trip. Jesus!
I closed my account as soon as the "allowed" me to withdraw my funds. I told the manager "you make Chase look good"

I originally opened my checking and business accounts with Carolina First, but since this was bought by TD Bank all of the transactions that used to be processed whiting a reasonable amount of time have become a major pain.
Online purchases from Amazon used that used to go through on the same or next day now take 3-4 days to be processed. A real inconvenience when you own a small business and need to get supplies or equipment fast.
Checks deposited used to be available on the same day (a real convenience), now if I deposit a check over $200 the first $200 will be available by the next day and the remainder of the deposit will be available after 2 days. Very convenient for them.
I have been reading reviews and intend to switch banks as soon as I can.

I went into this bank with my daughter to see why CASH that was deposited into this branch's ATM was not available. It was explained that because it was SAturday it would not be till Tuesday. But yet they reconcile their ATM on Monday!!!!!They are suppose to be America's most convenient bank. Instead they are "America's most fee charges" bank. When we chose to close ALL of our accounts with TDbank the lady called security. All watch out..The asst manager stares at you like your a piece of trash.
Then when you call her on it.she calls the cops. asst manager should suck up and appreciate my daughter. Her husband serves to protect her lazy butt!! WE ARE CLOSING ALL ACCOUNTS WITH TDBANK AND NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!

Marter Avenue TDBank Unbelievable

On Monday I went to the bank with my daughter so she could close out her old bank and open a new account and get a new debit card as she had broken up with her boyfriend and he had access to both. The manager refused to let her open a new account as she had less than $100 in pending transactions and would not let her get a new debit card for the same reason. RIDICULOUS! She went to the TDBank on Ark Road and they gave her a new debit card immediately.

Marter Avenue TDBank Rip Off

On September 26th I cashed a check at TDBank from another TDBank Account. There was no problem until looking at my statement online. Apparently there were insufficient funds. The teller did not check for this and subsequently the funds were removed from my account and a $15 fee added. On speaking with the branch manager he was impolite and no help at all.

I love TD Bank, but the Lake Grove Branch is the exception. Staff is rude and the general attitude is they can't be bothered. Go to another branch because I love the hours and staff at other locations

I couldn't be more pleased with TD Bank. I've had bank accounts at other banks and have been greatly disappointed with them. TD Bank id very professional, courteous and a very SHORT wait time. I have no idea what these other people are talking about.

Although the staff has always been friendly and polite, the wait time for everything is UNBELIEVABLY long. I frequent the drive-through and the last few times the wait time has been a joke! I thought the point of a drive-through was for quick transactions and fast service. Not the case here! I think the teller waits on one person at the drive through and then two from the inside line before returning to the drive-through.
Another time, I went in to one of their offices to close out some old accounts and, OVER AN HOUR LATER, it was completed.
We have been TD Bank customers for 18 years because we loved the personal and quality service we used to get. Since the bank has been taken over, the personal service is still there but, maybe because they've cut staff, it's painfully slow to get any trasactions completed.
Also, last year I put a stop payment on a check and even received a note from the bank telling me the stop was in effect. WRONG! Apparently, the person I had written the check to had cashed it approx. 1 hour before and because their computer system updates were delayed, it allowed me to put the stop on the check. Luckily, I had enough $ to cover it in my account.

I think the customer service at this branch is wonderful.
The Staff is friendly, accomadating & informative, not to mention extremely helpful. My family and our Business would not hesitate to recommend this bank to everyone.
