I am a share holder in 6 different businesses. One of them has an account with TD Bank. I happen to be a president of that company since account was opened( 4 years ago) and am listed on the account as an authorized user. Usually I go to a Huntingdon Valley branch( which I would give 5 stars), but that day I stopped at Hatboro. How enlightening that was.
After I gave my debit card to a teller and told him that I want to withdraw xxx of dollars, he went for a help. He came back with the other guy who asked me why I need a cash and if certified checks would work. Excuse me? I want to take some of MY money out of MY account. What could be a problem?
So I gave them my Drivers Licence. They studied it thoroughly and I don't mind it. After all, they have to be careful. Then I was told that assistant manager will have to help me, since it's a larger sum. I don't mind that either. 5 more minutes passed by and a first teller came back with a blank withdrawal slip, asking me to sign it. I should not, but I still did it, after he explained that they need to check my signature. It should be done in a minutes, he said, they just have to wrap everything around. And he lives again behind a closed doors, this time with my Drivers Licence. Waiting again. After five more minutes, 4 people are coming out. Teller, certified checks guy, assistant manager and a curious girl, probably new teller to learn how to deal with those situations.
Assistant manager tells me:" We had to call your business partner, he will call you on your cell".
Me:" My cell is outside, I don't have it on me. Who did you call and why?"
A.M.:" Your business partner ( by first name)."
Why- I asked.
" We know him, he's the one who usually comes here."
Me: "Am I listed on the account?"
A.M.: "Yes"
Me: "You have my I.D. and signature. What is the problem?"
A.M.: "We don't know you. We know (first name of one of my partner). He will call you so we can straighten this up."
Me: "I am listed on the account. Are you telling me that you need somebody's approval to give me my money?"
A.M.:"Well, you know, we know him and we don't know you."
I smiled and kindly asked for my Drivers licence back and left the branch.
I have called regional manager to inform him about what happened.
After I left branch, I called my partner (person that bank employees know and call by first name) and he told me that first teller called him on his CELL, not the business phone number they have linked to our account, to inquire about me.
I have lived in a lot of countries and dealt with different banks in 4 continents. This situation reminded me of time when I was 18, living in Balkans, when a bank teller called my father to tell him that I'm trying to withdraw money from our family account. Father told her that she should do her job and do what I asked her to do as a client, not to play detective.
Account that I have with TD will be closed in 7 days.

Worst experience ever! I deposited a check into my account then when I went to check my account balance the check hadn't been deposited. I called the branch and they basically told me that they can't help me even though they're the ones who lost my check! I am closing my account immediately, would never recommended anyone to bank with TDBank.

Unbeleievable! Thsi is worse than the Keystone Cops! i go into Cinnaminson Barnch after learning of Target scam. I want a new debit card. The machine in not working...Go to Delran. Their machine not working. Disgusted I wait a few days. No card use for 4 days. TODAY I go into Cinnaminson to do this all over again..I wait in this unGodly line, the older woman ignores that I am standing there says "oh, the system is slow", then takes my card runs it through the new debit card maker and comes back to tell me "oh its not working today" UNBELIEVABLE! I take the card, check my balance and leave to head to mechanic. There I find card DENIED! I got to Mt Laurel Branch, wait forever, Asian teller, barely able to speak clear English, tells me ACCOUNT OK, yes OK, NO PROBLEM" Fine, i withdraw cash drive Back TO MECHANIC and pay in full. Tonight? Card DENIED again at Redbox! I call main # 2x. Finally I find out someone called card in lost, they don;t know who what or where, MY CARD, and tell me I am basically out of luck until branch opens tomorrow! So I do this dance again! Its all a darn game to hold my cash and make it hard to take it out during the holidays who are they kidding?!!!! This is MY card - seems the darn hackers are the least of my worries!

I walk in trying to do business and all I see is the manager in the back laughing and howling into the phone. I don't understand what is so funny. There are people waiting on line and all the employees are running around and she is laughing and howling into the phone. I don't know how you can hire a manager like that. This is a really good bank but your location has a terrible manager!

Same here, terrible service. No one can fire her because she plays the racial card. I don't have problem with her being black, but making me wait in line for 15 mins (not exaggerating) while she's laughing on the phone...that's not good service. She doesn't do anything and puts all the burden on the assistant manager.

This bank scammed us out of over 500 dollars in fees after claiming to link a bank card to our accounts. Their mistake cost a lot of money in overdraft fees and then I was told it would be reversed. My husband went down to close the account and they took 500 dollars from us, claiming we owed it to them in fees and overdrafts because of their mistake!! There are tons of hidden fees, too. Now, it's Christmas and they have stolen my children's Christmas money. And there is nothing we can do! I am bawling right now as I type this. Please do not get yourself scammed and robbed like we did!

most of the retards that work here are morons and screw up basic transactions like simple cash deposits. They make you wait endlessly in line while 4 out of 5 tellers act like they are busy and only keep one long line open at all times. they don't even stock the pens at the deposit slip station,zero pens???? The atm is always out of service or messes up your account by not giving you the amount requested although it still comes out of your account and you must fight with them to get your money back. Horrible bank,they will also close when they are supposed to be open.

The drive thru at this bank is very rude and unpleasant. I have gone twice to the drive thru yesterday and today and the tellers served me very slow and did not greet me! I WAS Appalled AND I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! I LOVE td bank BUT I AM NOW CONSIDERING TO GO TO A DIFFERENT BANK OVERALL!!!

Veronica at the Little River branch has the worse customer service i have ever heard off. She does not live up to the name of this bank. She lacked giving me advice when I needed help. She judges people and is overall a bad person to be working with different types of people and there money. She would not even cut it working at a McDonalds drive through! Overall i am not impressed with this entire branch.

Td at cheltenham mall has to be the work, the employees there don't live up to the companies name at all! I was waiting for customer service for a good hour or so, and then these two ladies came in, an employee cane from the back & assisted her, not even acknowledging I have been waiting to be assisted. That is very rude, and disrespectful! The cop on duty even noticed it and shook his head!

I recently visited the East Brunswick branch to make a deposit. There were a few people waiting in front of me - nothing unusual, so I waited patiently for my turn. When it was my turn at the front counter a woman who I later learned was Assistant Manager Beverly hurried to help me. She got immediately annoyed with me because of the $100 bills I was depositing after I told her I wanted to quickly double check the amount. She loudly & rudely told me to step aside so she could help other customers! Omg I was humiliated, shocked & embarrassed by her behavior towards me! The other customers waiting told me it was okay & for her not to worry. I smiled & thanked them for their patience & kindness. I told this Assistant Manager Beverly that I did not appreciate her rudeness & how she embarrassed me especially since " I am " a customer. I called to report her poor treatment to a manager & have been told several times that they were not a available or on vacation. My husband & I will be happily switching our accounts to a new bank for humane customer service as soon as possible. We will never do business with TD Bank again for anything. The only reason i go to this bank because its close to my house and there really isnt any other choices. I waited over 20 minutes to get to a teller, mind you there were two tellers on and it was lunch time. Come on people, customers do there banking at lunch time and lets not get me started on there drive-threw its worse than going inside. But on only one postive note the young man that took care of me was nice that is why i have staff two stars

I get checks as tips from my clients that I take to the 7 corners branch, they're usually $20, I don't have an account and have never been charged the $7 fee unless it was over $20. At this branch they charged the $7 and cashed the check after I said "no I'll just take it back and go to the other branch, they don't charge me the fee on $20 checks." I have never had any other bank (BB&T, Wells Fargo/Wachovia (and they're the worst), M&T bank, etc) charge me a check cashing fee on a $20 check except these a-holes. I will never bank at TD bank.

I get checks as tips from my clients that I take to the 7 corners branch, they're usually $20, I don't have an account and have never been charged the $7 fee unless it was over $20. At this branch they charged the $7 and cashed the check after I said "no I'll just take it back and go to the other branch, they don't charge me the fee on $20 checks." TD Bank does seem to have high fees if you go below $250 in checking or have to use overdraft. I don't like this so am trying to be better about my checking account use.
The bank manager, Ron and other staff are awesome!! They are friendly, prompt, patient, and will do whatever is needed to make my visit productive. Bank did call me immediately when there was fraudulent action on my account and refunded the money taken. I have no complaints.

TD Bank does seem to have high fees if you go below $250 in checking or have to use overdraft. I don't like this so am trying to be better about my checking account use.

Td has no respect for your or your identity on two occasions within a 6month span I've had to close out accounts with td due to the way they operate with online purchases and money transfers... their level of protection against fraudulent online activity is non existent even if you catch an online service in the act of stealing from you td bank will not stop the transaction AT ALL you must allow the frauds to finish stealing your money then fight with td for up to 120 days until they transfer your case to visa itself that wilk rectify the problem in less than 10 days but you see my point that TD BANK SHOULD BE CALLED BS INSTEAD

I know that all banks have fees if you drop below a certain amount, have insufficient funds, or bounce checks, that's a given! I guess since I've always had at least $3,500+ in my checking account at all times, I've never once gotten hit with one single solitary fee...EVER! Call it lucky or call it smart...but either way, I'm happy with TD and wouldn't go to any other bank! Thank you TD for treating me like a valued customer!!!

Well, if you leave that much in a checking account, they're making plenty off you, so they don't need to charge fees.

Secondly, the place is huge... but they have 1 person behind a desk!! Waited for over an hour just to remove a maintenance fee, which shouldn't have been there in the first place. never again td bank. CHASE YOURE UP!!!

Tried to submit a proof of insurance. Escrow dept "never" received it, even after mailing it registered and having one of the branch office fax it over. After 4 months of sending the proof through various means, short of driving up to their office and hand deliver it, one of the customer reps was nice enough to take an email scan and forward it to their escrow dept. Now that the insurance is cancelled, you'd think they would correct the amount due, etc.
However, this is just the beginning of the nightmare. Now I have to deal with collections, who is threatening me with foreclosure, because they dont know how to recalculate and reassign payment amount. Having escalated twice, they dont call back, dont answer phone calls, etc.
This will be my last mortgage with TD bank and will never use any of their other services!
They are by far the worst bank ever.
