THEY SHORTED ME 20.00 at THEIR ATM !!!!
I went into the bank & explained the problem & they treated me , a good customer for more than 17yrs with complete lack of concern.
The stupid LaToya 's first response was " oh, its a NEW machine " ....so THEY KNEW IT WAS MALFUNCTIONING !!!!!!! And they didn't take it out of service- THEY ARE STILL LETTING PEOPLE USE IT .
And she made me fill out a form like I'm a criminal & told me I have to wait TEN DAYS for them to resolve their mistake.
DONT USE HARRIS BANK !!!!!!

Could not exchange foriegn currency money for my mother. I drove in from deerfield, picked Mother up at nursing home and drove to hildale branch where I was told it was the only(?) place to exchange currency. They asked for my lisence and s.s. number, ran it int heri compiuter twice and then said he couldn't exchange it for me. What does my perosnal information have to do with exchanging 100 eruos into $115??? So very little christmas shopping for my mom, as it is a non payday week for me the day before christmas.

I pulled up to the drive through and all the staff was laughing and having a great time. Unfortunately it took quite awhile for anyone to even realize I was sitting there. Then one lady talked to me and told me to send my checks in and then walked away. Another lady walked over and grabbed them and asked what I thought I was doing, like I was a child. I really didn't appreciate her being so condescending towards me. The fact that I sat there and nobody helped me or even acknowledged that I was there really bothered me. Needless to say, I will never come back to this location regardless of convenience. I never had this issue with the old M&I staff.

I have been a Harris cusstomer for over 8 years. The branch on 47th street always offers the worst customer service. The staff are not friendly and seem uninterested in assisting with any questions I have. The teller manager even made a rude comment to a teller about me when I asked for some two dollar bills! While I was standing there! The ATM does not dispense funds requested and none of the staff even try to resolve the issue! I always try to go to another location for service.

Have been a costumer for many years and while doing my banking today during my conversation with the clerk the implication was made that my conversation with my 21yr old son( which was in another language) made her feel uncomfortable because she has been involved in the robbery before. I could not believe my ears. I was floored and insulted by her comments. We live in the world that people are controlled by fear and allowing that fear to interfere with their ability to perform their job. Because of this I will be closing my accounts with BMO Harris Bank and will be telling my friends to avoid this bank.

I was a 'loyal' M&I customer for over 10 years, never had one single issue, ever. Now after the fabulous BMO Harris aquisition, this place is a freaking nightmare. Their fees are ridiculous, wait times are terrible, customer 'support' on the phone is horrendous... Do yourself a favor - look at all the reviews on this and other sites and take them seriously. Go elsewhere for your banking needs.

I have experienced THE worst "customer service" ever when dealing with this so-called company. I asked the simple question of being informed of what account my money was sent to for a distribution, and was denied. I was told that the information was not accessible to the representative. I followed up the initial call with several calls over the next few days, and was given the run around. The money ended up being sent to the wrong account, and the company would not accept fault for this error. Instead, they tried to place blame on myself and the third party company who sent over the request. The issue has now been escalated much further than neccessary because they refused to expedite the matter. I would not reccommend this company to anyone! Do NOT invest with this company! If you do, you will regret it, trust me.

I had been an "Associated" customer from '88-'08, then switched to M&I due to previous association, closeness to home and other incidentals...nothing overly amazing. DD and accounts all transferred with no problems. A small issue in getting checks printed properly, but once that was handled, then everything (including re-orders) was smooth as silk... THEN, the changes started happening... The big concern was the re-naming/re-positioning/consolidating of the different checking/saving accounts. Once that settled down, then it was time to wait for the hammer to fall. Well, it did. M&I sold out to BMO and while we, the customers, were being told nothing is going to change, well bite my butt, they're changing. Today, I open the on-line page and find that one of my checking acocunts has a $7.00 "fee" attached to it. OVER THE PAST YEAR, MY $10,000.00+ SAVINGS ACCOUNT GARNERED ONLY $6.15 (THIS YTD IT'S RAKING IN A WHOPPING $4.19) IN INTEREST AND IN ONE MONTH, I HAVE A CHECKING ACCOUNT GOUGING ME $7.00 FOR NOT HAVING A SINGULAR MONTHLY DD FOR $500.00 (NOT TOTAL FOR THE MONTH...ONLY ONE DD) AND YET, MY TWO MONTHLY (TWICE YEARLY, IT'S THREE) DD PUTS JUST UNDER $850.00/MONTH INTO THE SAME ACCOUNT...NOW I'M BEING "ASKED" TO DROP $1,000.00 INTO A CHECKING ACCOUNT THAT PAYS NOTHING IN INTEREST, INTO A BANK THAT PAYS SQUAT FOR INTEREST ON $10K+?!?!?!?!?!?!? FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU...BUT TO STICK AROUND AND GET KNEE'D IN THE FINANCIAL NADS MONTHLY? I'VE GOT TO BE THE IDIOT BEHIND THE DOOR WHEN THE QUARTERS WERE BEING GIVEN OUT FOR FREE...

Have had nothing but frustrations since the merger. M&I had a good website and billpay system that was user-friendly. I absolutely do not like the new website and have had issues with balances among other things. The big issue today is that I need to provide a stmt to my lender to close on my home refi and when I went online to get my statement, it reflects my ex-husbands name (and mine) and HIS ADDRESS!!! We removed him from my account 4 years ago. My lender will not accept this stmt and I am getting nowhere fast with customer service.... lots of bad hold music and no resolution :(

I have been in this branch multiple times and the staff is always friendly. They are always busy helping customers with smiles on...I have called the 800 number a couple times for questions and everyone is very pleasant..Conversion weekend I just waited until the inital boom slowed down to call...who would call when EVERYONE that banks there is calling? Thats just nonsensical.

I cannot get through to these people on the phone. I walked into the bank asking for help (downtown Racine branch)and was told I had to phone the 800 help number. ??? I cannot get through to them on the 800 help number phone. That's my problem. It is a circular nightmare. I did get a false smile as I was told I would not be able to get any help. We're going elsewhere. I doubt the corporation cares. My husband and I are professionals and this is not how we would conduct business. We were with M&I for over 17 years. Thanks, Corporate Greed.

I had issues with them when they were M&I and now it's worse because of their transistion to BMO. There is no customer service unless you call an actual branch. There is no weekend customer service. And, they cannot seem to stop screwing up - double paying bills and putting me into the red, fining me for their screw ups, locking my checking account, not sending me needed information to activate cards, putting me into a queue and then hanging up on me - the list could keep going. They are a disaster. I do not recommend them to anyone.

I read the other reviews and only went here because as a Canadian we use the BMO bank. We needed to transfer a large amount of money from Canada and the nice people at BMO Harris Ocoee branch bent over backwards to help us.

I bet they did. Money talks, especially when it is a substantial amount. In any bank you are treated by the amount of money you have in their bank.

I am sadden that as you take over M&I Bank, our local bank, you have detached from the customers as many big banks do and have complicateds my life to the point that I will be closing my accounts (not a big t deal to you) but a big deal to me, because my M&I banker is a wonderful person that I have dealt with for over 25 years, and is know limited by your big bank policies and procedures that forget what a human being looks like and wha tI need from you. So I am sad to have to move my account, (not a big deal to you) but a sad day to me.!
