I've been client since 2018 and I have no complaints, I really feel identified with the brand and its part of my Top 5 Banks actually. As a foreigner i was unable to open an account but once i became Resident the process was really fast and reliable. The bank offer the same services than others but looks more exclusive and elegant, i feel privileged to be a client i must say, the environment at the Doral Branch is absolutely different than other banks in Miami area, the personnel is always ready to help and smiling. 10/10 for HSBC

My entire purse was stolen this weekend. I have nothing- no phone no ID and no cards. I thought I could extract money to help me from my local branch by providing my passport, granted it was expired 1 month ago. I was met with a lack of sympathy and understanding. I offered to come back to the branch with my birth certificate, anything to help me get going so I could get by this week and make it to a special friends wedding this weekend. On top of it, my replacement cards won't arrive for 5 business days and that is rushed?! I am a premier member, by the way. That evidently means nothing.

I would give zero star if I can. The women was rude and gave us an attitude when we walked in. We asked her to reset our PIN on the bank card. She said no. The we asked for the 1099-misc that we never received from the bank. She's only willing to provide the total amount. We insist on getting it on paper. Then she's very unwillingly to print it and told us not to take it to the accountant. I wonder whether HSBC provide training to their customer service staff. How can a bank provide this kind of customer service still survive at this age in time? Unbelievable!!!
